New Development Jumps Ready for Jumping in Whistler

New Development Jumps Ready for Jumping in Whistler

November 13, 2015 Events

The new development hills will include an HS20 and HS40.  The 20-meter jump was completed last season and the 40-meter tower was completed this summer will be ready for jumping for this winter.  These will be winter jumps, watch for an 8-meter summer jump nearing completion in Squamish at the Sea To Sky Nordics owned Squamish Legacy Sports Park (SLSP).

Whistler Sport Legacies will be offering 4-week “Hoppers” learn to jump programs throughout the winter as well as a variety of introductory and recruitment initiatives.  The jumps will  be open on Wednesday nights for “Night Flight” Sessions.  These provide an opportunity for children and adults to give jumping a shot on their alpine or telemark equipment.  http://www.whistlersportlegacies.com/activities/ski-jumping
