Mackenzie Boyd-ClowesD/O/B: July 13 1991 Height: 182 cm Weight: 66 kg Current residence: Calgary, Alberta High School: National Sport School Coach: Gregor Linsig Age Started jumping: 7 years old Achievements: 28th place – World Cup Sapporp 2011 PR: 171 meters Future Goals: Continue to compete successfully at both the continental and world cup level. Results for this upcoming winter include top 15 in COC and top 30 in WC. About yourself: My competitive personality has helped me succeed in my sport from a very young age. For the last 12 years ski jumping has been my number one focus, and I have sacrificed a lot to be where I am. Those sacrifices have paid off and I am very privileged to travel the world and pursue my favorite sport. My hobbies include film, music, writing, and spending time in the great outdoors with intelligent people. |

About yourself: I am a hard working individual who is driven in all aspects of my life. I have worked for the clothing store French Connection for just over three years and have recently started to design my own line of T- Shirts with help from them. I am studying commerce at the University of Athabasca and after I am finished two years of study with UA I will be transferring in to the Haskayne School of Business to finish my Bachelor of Commerce Degree. I Love the sport of ski jumping and have taught myself to work hard to achieve goals. I am a strong believer that being committed to a sport at the high performance level will play a huge role in how I will live my life forever. I am currently attending the National Sport School because it allows me to travel for training camps and competitions. I plan on attending university once I have completed my career in Ski Jumping. My hobbies include drawing/sketching, graffiti, music and alpine skiing. |

Achievements: Foreran the Olympics (All Nordic Combined and Ski Jumping Events), Competed in both FIS and Continental Cups, 3rd at North American Junior Championships, 1st in Western Regional Championships, 3 time SpringerTournee wins on the k 38 and 1 on the k18 and the Grand Slam award after competing on every hill in the SpringerTournee.
PR: 140 meters on the K125 (Large Hill) in Whistler.
Future Goals: Top 10 in FIS cups, top 20 at World Junior Championships, Top 30 in Continental Cups, Compete in the World Championships in Norway this year, Compete in the 2014 Olympics in Russia
About yourself: Enjoy riding and working on motorcycles, golfing, alpine skiing, and the occasional game of squash. |

Interests: When I am off the hill I enjoy working in my garage on classic cars. I am currently restoring a 1965 Mustang. I also enjoy down hill biking in the summer and playing the Cello.
Goals: My goals for this year is to get FIS Cup points and also Continental Cup points. Also to improve at having an open mind on the jump hill. |
