- National Development team to Provincial Development team based on Canadian Ranking List order
July Continental Cups (European) – Women
- Open to: National Team through to Provincial Development Team
- Priority for entry to fill quota spots:
- Top International ranked athlete from National ‘A’ or ‘B’ team
- Top 3 athletes from following (all entered athletes must have met criteria to be within 90% of the top 3 competitors in 3 of 4 local competitions immediately prior to Continental Cup Competition):
- National team athletes
- National Development team to Provincial Development team based on Canadian Ranking List (CRL) order
Winter Continental Cups and World Cups – Women
- Open to: National Team through to Provincial Development Team
- Priority for entry to fill quota spots:
- Top International ranked athlete from National ‘A’ or ‘B’ team
- Top 3 athletes from following (all entered athletes must have met criteria to be within 90% of the top 3 competitors in 3 of 4 local competitions immediately prior to Continental Cup Competition):
- National team athletes
- National Development team to Provincial Development team based on Canadian Ranking List (CRL) order
August Grand Prix – NC
- 1Open to National Team and National Development team only
- Must have min. one COC Point
- Team trial to be held in July in PC UT
- Final decision one selection based on PC team trial and coach’s discretion with CRL ranking taken into consideration.
Winter Continental Cups – NC
- Western US & Canada 4 to 8 athletes based on coaches decision and budget considerations
- Open to National Team, National Development team, and Provincial Teams
- Must have at least 1 COC point
- Place within 92% of top Canadian at trial comp to be held at early snow camp
- Final team based on coach’s discretion using CRL, trial comp, and COC point requirement.
European, Asian, Eastern US & Canada (anytime we have to get on a plane) (up to 4 athletes)
- Must have at least 1 COC point
- Place within 95% of top Canadian at trial comp held at early snow camp
- Place within 95% of points in Western COC
- Final team based on coach’s discretion using CRL, trial comp, and COC point requirement.
- The exception to these above COC criteria would be if the COC is part of a pre WJC (or similar) camp. In this instance coach’s discretion is final decider.
Winter World Cups – NC Up to 2
- Open to National Team and National Development only
- Must have a COC point
- Final decision one selection based on PC team trial and coach’s discretion with CRL ranking taken into consideration.
August European Grand Prix World Cup – SJM – Eligibility:
- Top National ‘A’ or ‘B’ team member as ranked from the July European competitions
- Second athlete may be sent as funding and coaches discretion allow
August FIS and Continental Cup – SJM
- Open National Team to Provincial Team
- Up to 4 entries, in order of priority:
- 2nd ranked National Team member
- 3rd and 4th ranked National Development team member (4th athlete only if 2nd athlete sent to European Grand Prix World Cup)
- Any remaining National Development team members in order of rank
- 2 best athletes from Provincial team based on qualifier competition
Winter FIS Cups – SJM
- 1Open National Team to Provincial Team
- Up to 4 entries, in order of priority:
- 2nd ranked National Team member
- 3rd and 4th ranked National Development team member according to CRL (4th athlete only if 2nd athlete sent to European Grand Prix World Cup)
- Any remaining National Development team members in order of CRL rank
- 2 best athletes from Provincial team based on qualifier competition

- Open to National Team and National Development Team only in order of priority:
- Top National ‘A’ or ‘B’ team member as of CRL
- 2nd ranked National Team member as of CRL
- 3rd and 4th ranked National Development team member according to CRL
Winter World Cups – SJM
- Open to National Team and National Development Team only in order of priority:
- Top National ‘A’ or ‘B’ team member as of CRL
- 2nd ranked National Team member as of CRL
- 3rd and 4th ranked National Development team member according to CRL
- Must have COC points
Jan / Feb World Jr. Championships:
SJM – 2 or 3 athletes as entry quota, budget, and athlete quality allow (no guarantee of taking 3 athletes)
- National Team ‘A’ through to Provincial Team
- Selection priority:
- Athlete with World cup points
- Athlete with Continental Cup points
- Top 2 ranked CRL athlete(s)
- Top 10 at Youth Olympics
- Youth Olympics named athlete
- Team event entry is ideal and may require use of NC jumpers
SJW – 4 athlete entries as entry quota, budget, and athlete quality allow (no guarantee of taking 4 athletes)
- National Team ‘A’ through to Provincial Team
- Selection priority:
- Athlete with Continental Cup points
- 2 or 3 athletes from 4 youth Olympics qualification process – each athlete must have finished within 90% of top 2 athletes
- Athlete with North American Continental Cup Point
- Top Canadian at North American Jr. Competition if they are within 95% of the average of the top three finishers
Nordic Combined – up to 4 athletes, bottom 2 athletes (3rd and 4th ranked on team) will be 100% self funded
- Open to National Team through to Provincial Team
- Selection priority
- 2nd Canadian at North American Jr. Competition assuming within 95% of top Canadian (if first World Jr. Championships then athlete can be 90% of top Canadian)
- 3rd and 4th athlete by invite – if they are within % shown in part iii – coaches discretion
