Continental Cup Points for Canadian Wes Saville

Wes Saville achieved Continental Cup points at the recent Park City FIS event before Christmas.  Wes is part of the NCTC initiative that is preparing our athletes to compete at the 2017 FIS Nordic World Ski Championships to be held at Lahti, Finland prior to the next Olympics. Wes’s accomplishment at Park City is a first step for Canada and for the NCTC team.

Nordic Combined is an Olympic Winter sport that combines cross-country skiing and ski jumping. It is one of the oldest Nordic Winter sports.  NCTC
