Ski Jumping Canada names 2 men and 3 women to 2017 Nordic World Championships

February 6, 2017 – Calgary, Alberta

Ski Jumping Canada is pleased to announce that two men and three women have been named to the 2017 Nordic World Championships team. The team will compete at the World Championships to be held February 21 through March 5, 2017 in Lahti, Finland

The men’s team is comprised of Mackenzie Boyd-Clowes and Josh Maurer. The women’s team is comprised of Taylor Henrich, Nicole Maurer and Natasha Bodnarchuk. All five are from Calgary and are based out of the training facility at Canada Olympic Park.

The 2017 Nordic World Championships is the top Nordic competition of the year and attracts the best ski jumpers from around the world. Ski Jumping Canada is expecting strong results from both teams. Boyd-Clowes registered a top 6 finish in the summer Grand Prix series and a 4th place at a recent Continental Cup event while Henrich has two World Cup podiums to her credit as well as a 5th place finish in the 2015 World Championships.

Ski Jumping Canada a nommé 2 hommes et 3 femmes sur l’équipe des Championnats Nordique du Monde.

6 Février 2017 –Calgary, Alberta
Ski Jumping Canada est fier d’annoncer que deux hommes et trois femmes ont été nommés sur l’équipe des Championnats Nordique du Monde de 2017. L’équipe va faire compétition dans le Championnats du Monde le 12 Février au 5 Mars, 2017 à Lahti en Finlande.

L’équipe des hommes est compris de Mackenzie Boyd-Clowes et Josh Maurer. L’équipe des femmes est comprise de Taylor Henrich, Nicole Maurer et Natasha Bodnarchuk. Tous les cinq sont basés à Calgary et s’entrainent à Canada Olympic Park.

Les Championnats Nordique du Monde de 2017 est la compétition Nordique la plus importante de l’année et attire les meilleurs sauteurs du monde entier. Ski Jumping Canada s’attend à des bons résultats de ces deux équipes. Boyd-Clowes est arrivé dans les premiers 6 dans un Grand Prix d’été et a récemment arrivé en 4eme position dans une Coupe Continentale. Henrich a eu deux podiums dans la Coupe du Monde et elle est arrivée en 5eme position dans les Championnats d Monde de 2015.
