Club Programs
Club programs are a key part of ski jumping in Canada and provide athletes with regular access to training, coaching, and a supportive community.
Athletes typically enter club programs after being introduced to the sport through multi-sport programs, snow bumps or other introductory experiences. Clubs deliver training on small hills first and support athletes as they progressively develop skills, confidence, and readiness.
Programs are led by qualified coaches and aligned with Ski Jumping Canada’s Long-Term Development pathway. Club environments focus on safe progression, enjoyment of the sport, and consistent skill development.
Club programs operate in select communities and work closely with Ski Jumping Canada to support athlete growth and national pathway alignment.

National Development Network
Support for athletes across Canada, including communities without a local ski jumping club.
The National Development Network connects athletes to Ski Jumping Canada programming when local club access is limited or still developing. It ensures geography is not a barrier to participation or progression in the sport.
Athletes often enter the Network after being introduced to ski jumping through Fit to Fly, Ski Jumping Canada’s physical literacy–based entry program. Fit to Fly builds foundational movement skills, confidence, and interest before athletes transition into more ski jumping–specific development.
Some athletes may also be identified through talent transfer initiatives such as RBC Training Ground, which helps introduce high-potential athletes from other sports to ski jumping.
From these entry points, athletes can progress into Ski Jumping Canada’s Athlete Development Program, which provides structured support through camps, centralized training opportunities, and ongoing connection to the national pathway.
The Athlete Development Program supports athletes across Canada, including those training in regions where a local club does not yet exist, while continuing to encourage long-term connection to clubs and provincial programming as opportunities emerge.
