Calgary, AB – Ski Jumping Canada is taking a major step forward in athlete development, announcing a new partnership with Demotu, an industry-leading performance analysis platform widely used in high-performance sport.
Demotu’s cutting-edge technology will now anchor Ski Jumping Canada’s technical system from the grassroots to the elite level, giving athletes and coaches across the country faster, clearer, and more actionable feedback than ever before.
“We’re thrilled to support Ski Jumping Canada with technology that turns complex biomechanics into clear, actionable insights,” said the Demotu team. “In a sport where tiny technical differences shape results, delivering data to athletes and coaches quickly can make a meaningful impact on athlete readiness and performance.”
Ski Jumping Canada General Manager, Drew Edwards, says this partnership is a game-changer for a sport working hard to scale its development system and identify emerging talent.
“Demotu lets us reach more athletes, in more places, with real technical clarity,” said Edwards. “In a country as spread out as Canada, that’s a huge advantage. When coaches get consistent, reliable analysis, they teach better. When athletes see clear feedback, they improve faster. It strengthens our entire development system — growing the athlete pool, boosting retention, and speeding up progress at the domestic level.”
As Ski Jumping Canada continues to expand grassroots access — through snow bumps, small-hill activations and off-hill recruitment events nationwide — this technology will play a central role in ensuring young athletes receive high-quality, consistent instruction from their very first contact with ski jumping.
“This is exactly the kind of innovation we need.” added Edwards. “Demotu helps us build a smarter, stronger, and more connected system for Canadian ski jumpers.”
The partnership takes effect immediately, with Demotu integrated into recruitment activities, development programming, and domestic pathway initiatives throughout the 2025-2026 season.
